Important Announcement: February 2026
Mass Teacher Resources has suspended operations due to a budget deficit, effective February 18, 2026.
The advisory board is currently exploring available options to keep the MTR Free Store up and running.
Updates on this progress will be shared via email, on our social media and posted on the home page of our website.

This fall 616 teachers from 154 schools secured supplies for almost 26,000 students through the MTR Free Store.
This is more than 3x the total number of teachers served during the entire 2024-2025 school year.
Despite this amazing success, MTR stands at a crossroads.
Due to back-to-back monthly operating deficits,
we need to raise $60,000 by March 1st
to keep the MTR Free Store open.
In-kind donations to the MTR Free Store have helped us secure the inventory we need to provide teachers with supplies to support their students’ educational success.
This support has saved local teachers thousands of dollars in personal expense and helped keep tons of usable supplies
out of local waste streams.
The impact of these efforts cannot be overstated.
